As part of the restoration, we build temporary enclosures while repair work was done to secure the interior. Then we stripped and sanded, repaired water damage, and applied marine grade sealer and varnish before reinstalling the set of doors.

These 40 year old sanctuary doors sanctuary doors from a local church’s entry way needed some restoration after years of water damage. The 27-piece mahogany door included years of layers of varnish to strip.

To keep it protected for future years marine grade varnish sealer and top coats were applied. We replaced the kick plate and polished all original brass fixtures, and reinstalled the restored door.

After


A 85 year old, rounded top, original exterior side door from a local church needed restoration from water damage. The joints were separating and some brass nail pinning was missing and needed to be sourced.

During restoration, we built a rounded top, temporary enclosure door at the church, replaced brass nail pins, sanded the water damage, and the splits joints were repaired with glue, clamp and oak doweling. This door also needed to be stripped of years of varnish.
